Veneporte, a global supplier of exhaust and emission control components for the automotive industry, has announced the signing of a contract with Groupauto International (GAI Group), which has enabled it to acquire the status of "Approved Business Partner" of the well-known purchasing group.
Created in 1990, the GAI Group has one of the largest automotive parts distribution networks for the independent replacement market, currently counting with 1.210 distributors and 3.410 points of sale worldwide. The signing of the agreement took place at the beginning of June and is the result of the existing partnerships with different members of this group, in several countries, over the last years.
This relationship, as well as the quality of Veneporte's products, have contributed decisively to this recognition, not only in the silencers but also in the hot part of the system, namely in the catalytic converters and particulate filters.
In the words of Abilio Cardoso, CEO of Veneporte, "the signing of this agreement is a strategic and commercial landmark, but also from the point of view of the recognition of the investment we have always made in the quality of all our products. Surely, if we had not made this commitment to quality, we wouldn’t have the recognition of this and other strategic partners. The aim of Veneporte is to extend the existing partnership with the GAI Group to as many members as possible and to work towards brand recognition in all these markets. "
Veneporte is a company with 100% Portuguese capital, employing 165 employees and, since 1967, developing, manufacturing, and commercializing all the components of the car exhaust system. Currently, the company exports more than 90% of its production to more than 20 countries.
