On November 19, the Coliseu do Porto was the scene of a special celebration of business innovation in Portugal, hosting the award ceremony for the COTEC-BPI SME Innovation Award, as part of the 14th SME Innovation Meeting.
Veneporte was honoured to be among the six finalists for this prestigious award, which recognizes SMEs that stand out for their innovative approach and contribution to the country's sustainable and competitive development. During the event, a panel dedicated to the theme “Adapt, grow and lead: How SMEs anticipate the future”, moderated by Jorge Portugal, Director General of COTEC Portugal, provided moments of sharing and inspiration, highlighting the strategies of companies leading innovation in Portugal.
Throughout the ceremony, each finalist had the opportunity to present their vision and story, and was congratulated by His Excellency, the President of the Portuguese Republic, Prof. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. This recognition is an important milestone for Veneporte, reinforcing the company's ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence.
Although the award went to the company Fravizel, we congratulate the winner on their well-deserved achievement and thank COTEC Portugal and Banco BPI for their impeccable organization and for promoting initiatives that boost Portuguese SMEs.
