On June 11, Veneporte welcomed the trainees of Vocational Training Course 6 - Locksmithing, promoted by CERCIAG as part of the PESSOAS-FSE+-01393000 operation, to its premises.
The main aim of the visit was to provide direct contact with the industrial environment, consolidating the knowledge acquired in the training room. The group was welcomed by Engineer Hugo, who gave a general presentation of the company, its capabilities and main production processes.
Throughout the visit, various topics linked to the training units worked on in the course were covered, namely:
- Workshop Bench Work;
- Environment, Safety, Hygiene and Health at Work;
- Materials Technology - Metalworking Construction;
- Technical Drawing - General;
- Welding - Technologies and Operations.
There was also time to take a closer look at the jigs used on our production line, which are fundamental tools for guaranteeing the accuracy and dimensional quality of the parts manufactured. The trainees were very interested and surprised by the precision of these tools, recognizing the importance of contact with industrial reality in consolidating their learning.
