2024 was a truly remarkable year for Veneporte, a period full of challenges, achievements and important advances that reinforce our commitment to excellence, innovation and sustainability.
Achievements of 2024: A Year to Celebrate
Over the past year, we have taken part in major events such as the Poznan Motor Show, Automotive Hungary, Automechanika Frankfurt and were present at Automechania Shanghai, strengthening our position in the global market. We were also present at the Motrio convention and FAB- Forum Automotive Business held by the Alliance, reaffirming Veneporte's strategic alignment with renowned partners.
We were honored as finalists for the COTEC-Innovation Award, an achievement that took us to the Palace of Belém, where we had the opportunity to be received by His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic, Prof. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa. We were also awarded PME Líder and PME Excelência status, a reflection of the dedication of our entire team.
In terms of innovation and new products, in 2024 we expanded our product range with the launch of LNTs and GPFs, as well as a significant increase in the EURO 6 range. These advances represent Veneporte's ongoing commitment to offering solutions in line with new market demands and environmental sustainability.
Partnerships and Strategic Visits
We received visits from important partners and customers such as MOTRIO, LKQ Fource, LKQ CZ, LKQ SK, LKQ LANG, MITSUBISHI Daimler, Vauner, among others. Strengthening commercial relations and analyzing new opportunities for collaboration.
Commitment to sustainability and efficiency
Investment in decarbonization was also a milestone. With the installation of a new energy self-production unit (photovoltaic solar energy), contributing to the reduction of emissions.
We began implementing the Kaizen project, in partnership with the Kaizen Institute, promoting continuous improvement, increasing the efficiency of different processes and also improving the quality of our products.
Team Growth and Recognition
With a consolidated presence in 33 countries and exporting more than 95% of our production, in 2024 we exceeded 30 million euros in turnover. We ended the year with an unforgettable Christmas celebration, where we paid tribute to the company's longest-serving employees, who have certainly contributed to Veneporte's success over many years.
Prospects for 2025
With the solid foundations built throughout 2024, we begin 2025 with new objectives and the ambition to exceed new targets, to strengthen our leadership in the markets where we are present and to create solid foundations with all our customers, other partners and employees.
We are aware that it will be a year of great challenges, but we are also confident of good opportunities.
